Responsibilities

  • Work with children ages 2-8
  • Teach 30-minute Soccer Shots sessions
  • Instruct 2-4 consecutive sessions
  • Commit to at least 3-4 seasons (9-12 months)
  • Available three full days a week or all afternoons/evenings/mornings
  • Must have own, reliable transportation and daily access to equipment

Requirements

  • Responsible: Arrive on time, handle groups of 10+ children, keep accurate attendance, communicate with Soccer Shots director of coaching
  • Professional: Neat appearance, friendly and courteous with day care center staff and parents, self-assured
  • Enthusiastic: Enjoy interacting with young children, able to connect with them on their level, outgoing and animated
  • Soccer experience helpful, but not required if great with children and familiar with the game
  • Working with children: Able to engage and interact with 2-8 year olds, have experience doing so
  • Own and have daily access to a computer, printer, and internet

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Passport (for international travel)

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage a group of children
  • Outgoing personality
  • Knowledge of basic soccer skills (helpful but not required)

Pay

$17 per session (approx. $34/hr), with room for growth at the hourly rate or into a salaried position with increased pay.

Schedule

Starting pay is $17 per session (approx. $34/hr), with room for growth at the hourly rate or into a salaried position with increased pay. At most locations, there will be multiple classes, meaning you will be instructing 2-4 consecutive sessions ($34-$70 for an hour or two of coaching).

Compensation

$34.00 - $50.00 per hour
