Soccer Instructor & Entertainer

About the Role

Soccer Shots blends soccer, education, and fun into high-energy 30-45-minute sessions for kids ages 1.5-8 throughout the Queens area. As a part-time Soccer Coach & Entertainer, you’ll lead classes, engage children, and make a lasting, positive impact through soccer and character development.

Responsibilities

• Safely lead and manage classes of up to 12 children (ages 1.5-8).
• Study and teach the week's curriculum, focusing on skill and character development.
• Engage all children at an individual level.
• Arrive at least 15 minutes before start time at your locations.
• Provide a positive customer experience to faculty and families.
• Maintain and care for assigned coaching equipment.
• Manage your assigned class rosters.
• Provide post-session feedback.
• Communicate with management in a timely manner.
• Participate in and complete required trainings.
• Bring fun and positive energy to each class.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with young children.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to work some weekdays and weekends (Saturday or Sunday).
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Successful passing of background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• Animated and energetic personality; ability to engage children and be silly with them.
• Ability to coach indoors or outdoors (weather permitting) and in environments with various noise levels and elements.
• Soccer experience is preferred.
• Entertainment experience (acting, theater, etc.) preferred.
• Passion for positively impacting children’s lives through sports and fitness.

Pay

$20.00 per hour during training, $25 per hour after completing the paid training program. Opportunity to earn up to $30/hour through advancement.
