Soccer Coach

Duties

  • Plan and conduct soccer training sessions for players of various ages and skill levels
  • Teach fundamental soccer skills, techniques, and strategies
  • Develop and implement practice drills and game plans
  • Provide guidance and feedback to players to help them improve their performance
  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive learning environment
  • Ensure the safety of all players during training sessions and games
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding player progress and team updates
  • Attend team meetings, coaching clinics, and workshops to enhance coaching skills

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals and coaching techniques
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of players and adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina and ability to lead group activities
  • Passion for youth sports and social impact

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in coaching, education, sports science, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience, preferably in youth sports
  • Experience working with diverse populations and promoting inclusion
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes
  • Knowledge of youth sports development and best practices

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Specific vision abilities require by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
