Duties
- Plan and conduct soccer training sessions for players of various ages and skill levels
- Teach fundamental soccer skills, techniques, and strategies
- Develop and implement practice drills and game plans
- Provide guidance and feedback to players to help them improve their performance
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive learning environment
- Ensure the safety of all players during training sessions and games
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding player progress and team updates
- Attend team meetings, coaching clinics, and workshops to enhance coaching skills
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals and coaching techniques
- Ability to work with diverse groups of children and adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for youth sports and social impact
- Ability to travel as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in coaching, sports science, education, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience, preferably in youth sports
- Experience working with diverse populations and promoting inclusion and equity
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
