Soccer Coach

About the role

Soccer Shots runs the recreational soccer league for children ages PreK-8th grade at the Lockport Township Park District. We are looking for part-time coaches to join our growing team.

Schedule

• Tuesdays and/or Thursdays (preferably both) 4:45 pm – 7:15 pm
• Saturdays 8:30 am – 11:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Follow a pre-written curriculum (no need to develop your own practice plans)
• Engage young children in soccer activities with enthusiasm and high energy
• Carry and set up equipment (e.g., 14 balls, nets, etc.)
• Run, kneel, and squat on the field for up to 3 hours per session

Requirements

• A love of working with young children and making a difference in their lives
• Some soccer experience (playing or coaching)
• Reliable transportation
• Good physical stamina
• Ability to carry an equipment bag containing 14 balls, nets, and more
• At least 18 years old and highly reliable

Pay
