Soccer Coach

Responsible For: Preparing and delivering soccer training for youth groups Main Duties: Prepare & Deliver soccer training according to USSF Youth Guidelines and S5A CurriculumCreate safe environment for kids to practice and playMotivate players to understand the exercises and gamesSet up and break down practice material as neededEffectively communicate with players, parents, and other coachesTrack the development of each player and help them progress with skill and game decisionsTake attendance of assigned group every practice and game dayHave a strong player retention rateAssist with tryouts on assigned daysAssist Head Coach and Academy Management as needed Schedule: Mondays - Fridays from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM onsite coachingSaturdays and Sundays as required by league/tournament schedules2 - 6 hours per week Compensation: Coaching: $25+ per hour (based on experience)Monthly Salary for Rec & Competitive TeamsOther: $16 per hour for soccer camps (seasonal) Payment Date: End of calendar month Job Types: Part-time, Contract Work Location: In person Requirements High School Diploma or GEDUSSF Coach Coach CertificationPassionate about soccer, coaching and customer serviceFlexible, friendly, hardworking and also enjoy interacting with both children and adultsOrganizational skills, drive and initiativeOutgoing, energetic and friendly personalityAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysEagerness to grow in the organizationMust have reliable transportationBilingual (ENG-SPA) encouraged Benefits Employee discountHealth insurance (If applicable)Flexible Schedule
