About the role
Soccer Assistant Coach/Girls Position at Gulf Coast High School.
Responsibilities
- Support the head coach in implementing the team's training and game strategies.
- Work with players to improve their skills and overall performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and rules.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance team dynamics.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
- One reference letter (does not apply to current CCPS staff).
- Current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification is required.
- Basic Life Support Program (First Aid, CPR and AED).
Qualifications
- Coaches who hold current teaching certification do not need to obtain athletic coaching certification.
- Applicants must submit a completed online application with required uploaded documents.
Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with youth athletes.
- Knowledge of soccer techniques and tactics.
