About the role
The SOC/Incident Response Engineer is responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents, maintaining security protocols, and ensuring the integrity of the organization’s systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to alerts in real-time.
- Investigate and contain security incidents, including malware and unauthorized access.
- Document findings and provide recommendations for improving security practices.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure a comprehensive security posture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or incident response.
- Experience with SIEM tools and intrusion detection systems.
- Knowledge of common attack vectors and best practices for preventing cyber threats.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- CISSP certification preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with network security concepts and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay
- $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
Schedule
