About the role
Responsible for managing security operations center activities, responding to and investigating security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to alerts in real-time.
- Investigate security incidents, document findings, and recommend remediation actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and incident response processes.
- Document and maintain detailed incident reports and logs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT security operations or incident response.
- Experience with SIEM tools and security protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- CISSP certification preferred.
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or CIS.
- Knowledge of common attack vectors and mitigation strategies.
Skills
- Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with network security concepts and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information securely.
