Snubbing Operator

About the role

Operators 1-3 work in a leadership role in basket operations and are responsible for operating the standalone snubbing unit at MidAtlantic Energy Services.

Responsibilities

• Operate the snubbing jacket
• Lead the crew in changeovers, rig up and rig down activities
• Cookordination the crew during mobilizations, crew changeovers and supply management
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs and maintenance

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong leadership abilities
• Able to work effectively under pressure
• Able to lift
• Able to work 12+ hours at a time, outdoors and in all weather conditions
• Able to push/pull and complete repetitive tasks for long periods of time
• Able to life and maneuver items overhead
• Able to use hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, etc. without mobility restrictions
• High tolerance for busy, noisy and high stress environments
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable working at heights (sometimes extreme height)
• Able to work out of town for extended periods of time (up to 28 days)
• Must be able to successfully complete a competency evaluation for the respective position
