Snowflake developer with GCP and DBT

Snowflake Developer (GCP + DBT) Location: Arlington, VA (Onsite) Job Type: Contract Role Overview Previa Health is seeking a Snowflake Developer with strong experience in Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and DBT to design, develop, and optimize modern cloud data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines, transforming complex datasets, and supporting analytics platforms. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data WarehouseExperience developing data transformation workflows using DBTStrong experience with GCP data services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, or related services)Advanced SQL development skillsExperience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelinesExperience with data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimizationUnderstanding of cloud-based data architecture and best practicesExperience working with CI/CD processes and version control tools (Git) Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data solutionsBuild and optimize DBT models, transformations, and workflowsDevelop scalable data pipelines using GCP servicesPerform data analysis, validation, and troubleshootingOptimize Snowflake performance, including queries, warehouses, and data modelsCollaborate with data engineers, architects, and analytics teamsEnsure data quality, governance, and reliability across platforms Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Healthcare / Life Sciences domainKnowledge of modern data engineering practices and cloud-native architecturesExperience with Python scripting is a plus.
