Snowflake Cloud Admin

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Cloud Administrator to architect, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise data solutions. This role involves managing Snowflake environments, optimizing performance, and ensuring data security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Develop complex SQL queries for analytics and business intelligence, including query optimization.
• Perform data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
• Build complex queries, sharable views, and reporting.
• Utilize Snowflake utilities such as SnowSight and SnowSQL, along with Azure and GitHub.
• Create and maintain operational and system-level documentation.
• Collaborate with other developers to achieve quality and consistency of deliverables.
• Migrate from RDBMS platforms to Snowflake.
• Troubleshoot issues, solve problems, and prevent re-occurrence.
• Demonstrate resourcefulness, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Snowflake as a Snowflake Administrator or similar role.
• Hands-on expertise in managing Snowflake environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Azure/AWS Storage, and Azure/AWS Virtual Networks.
• Proficiency in SQL with experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with data security and compliance best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and take initiative.
