Snow Crew Member- Weekly Pay!

About the role

A Snow Crew Member is a flexible schedule position, on call as needed. Snow shovelers are responsible for snow removal with either a manual shovel or snow removal equipment. This position will require working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including rain, snow, ice, sun, and extreme cold.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings at the Branch, if requested.
• Perform snow removal with a manual shovel.
• Spread salt as requested.
• Remove snow from storefronts using awning rakes.
• Operate small snow blowers.
• Operate walk behind snow sweepers.
• Monitor weather correspondence and be aware of upcoming snow events.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Must be able to drive to the work site or branch in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently.
• Employees performing this job should be able and willing to drive or travel locally, if needed.

Skills

• Must be self-motivated.

• Flexible schedule position, on call as needed.
• Schedules may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours.
• Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate in snow removal activities.
