Snack Bar Lead - Catering
About the role
We are currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the position of Snack Bar Lead – Catering.
Responsibilities
- Participate and lead food service employees in the service of food during catered events.
- Participate in reviewing scheduled catered events; organize and plan, create timelines and adjust schedules.
- Requisition products and equipment; request support from other Dining Services operations and campus partners.
- Order, stock, gather, and deliver perishable and non-perishable goods to satellite food service operations and/or catered events. Transport food, equipment and staff to event locations.
- Assist in developing and training catering employees in setting up, serving.

Qualifications
- Food Handler's Permit
- One year experience in high volume or institutional food preparation and serving
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that is supportive of the needs including universal access of our students, faculty, staff and the public

Pay
The salary for this position is $42,797 (minimum) up to $55,584. As this is a .92% position, the annual salary will be prorated accordingly. The monthly salary for this position is $3,566.52 – $4,632.
Schedule
This position, during the course of university employment will be involved in the receipt of, or accountability for, university funds or other items of value, as well as the unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or children under the age of 16. The offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion and passing of a background check prior to beginning employment. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa currently. Sponsorship is not available for this position at this time.
