SMT Line Technician / Supervisor – Now Hiring

Location: Northbrook, IL, US (Onsite) | Full-Time

Our diversified product line includes PCB assemblies, prototypes, electronic modules, LED lighting, switches, resistors, sensors, and HVAC controls.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and monitor SMT equipment.
• Perform daily production support.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to minimize downtime.
• Ensure quality standards are met through inspections and quality checks.
• Maintain feeders and other tools used in the process.
• Oversee the daily operations of SMT production lines.
• Supervise and manage SMT technicians and operators.
• Ensure production schedules are met and coordinate activities to achieve targets.
• Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SMT Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
• High school diploma required; education or certification in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Aptitude for working under pressure and managing emergencies.
