About the role

The Respiratory Therapist provides therapeutic, diagnostic, prophylactic, and palliative respiratory care to patients of all ages across all units and departments of the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic, diagnostic, prophylactic, and palliative respiratory care to patients of all ages in all hospital units and departments.
• Deliver care under the supervision of the physician Medical Director, Department Manager, and Department Supervisor.
• Document all care provided in the medical record.
• Maintain respiratory care equipment and supplies.
• Assist in the orientation of new employees.
• Follow all organizational, departmental, and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines.
