SMO Analyst

Position Overview

Acts as an IT sourcing subject matter expert using the sourcing methodology for planning, due diligence, contract negotiations, and governance processes for IT spend. Conducts spend analysis, identifies opportunities, and leads complex sourcing events. Develops sourcing strategies to maximize value and reduce organizational risks. Coordinates request for proposals, negotiates contracts, and collaborates with Legal on contract terms. Monitors market dynamics and communicates changes to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to corporate standards.

Requirements

• Must have excellent written communication skills to effectively and accurately convey detailed and complex information regarding contract specifications, policies and procedures to consultants/contractors and internal clients.
• 3+ years of experience in IT sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or strategic sourcing.
• Proven experience supporting complex sourcing events, RFP processes, and contract negotiations.
• Experience working with IT vendors and technology contracts.
• Prior experience supporting enterprise-level sourcing or procurement transformation initiatives preferred.
