Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the MECM infrastructure to ensure consistent endpoint availability and system health across the enterprise.
- Deploy and monitor software packages, security updates, and critical patches to ensure all systems remain current and functional.
- Execute and maintain task sequences for automated OS deployments, focusing on consistent imaging and hardware compatibility.
- Operate and maintain dedicated test environments to validate updates and application configurations before production rollout.
- Conduct daily patch management operations, including scheduling deployments and resolving failed installations.
- Monitor and remediate endpoint compliance to ensure all systems adhere to organizational security policies and federal standards.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting for MECM client health, software distribution errors, and imaging failures.
- Utilize PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks and improve endpoint management efficiency.
- Keep detailed records of system configurations, operational procedures, and daily maintenance logs.
- Generate regular reports on deployment status, hardware inventory, and overall endpoint compliance.
Qualifications
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
- High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience) of hands-on experience architecting and managing MECM environments in large-scale enterprise settings.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server platforms (2012–2025) and core services (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS).
- Experience with Windows imaging, task sequences, and driver management.
- Proficiency with VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell for automation and system management.
- Experience building and maintaining lab/test environments for validation and troubleshooting.
- Expertise managing patch cycles, update deployments, and compliance reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to participate in technical discussions and translate requirements between stakeholders and engineering teams.

Required: Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programs.
- Microsoft Certifications: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including load balancing and content distribution challenges.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
