SME, Power Systems Studies Engineering, Energy and Infrastructure Projects (Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ)
About the role
You will lead essential power system studies—load flow, short circuit, stability, harmonics—to ensure every EPC project delivers safe, reliable, and optimized grid performance. You will develop and validate advanced system models in PSS/E, PSCAD, ETAP, and Cyme, providing the high-fidelity data that underpins accurate design decisions and successful project execution. You will evaluate renewable integration and emerging grid technologies, directly shaping how wind, solar, battery storage, and modernized substations connect and perform within the network. You will serve as a technical authority, presenting insights to clients, utilities, and internal teams to influence strategy, strengthen stakeholder confidence, and position Linxon as a leader in power systems engineering. You will deliver clear, high-quality technical reports that translate complex analysis into actionable guidance, driving informed decisions across design and execution phases. You will enhance modeling accuracy and standards, ensuring teams operate from consistent, reliable system data that elevates engineering quality across all projects.
