SME Network Engineer

GovCIO is hiring a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Network Engineer with an active Secret clearance to provide classified and unclassified Tier 3 senior-level support for network technologies in a government enterprise environment spanning hundreds of locations worldwide. This is a hybrid position located in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Provide classified and unclassified Tier 3 senior-level support for the design, implementation, and deployment of network-specific technologies across a global government enterprise.
• Deliver engineering and operational support for cloud providers (AWS and Azure), on-premise data centers, campus networks, Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Networks (DMVPN), firewalls, Layer 2/3, wireless networks, and network applications installed on client workstations.
• Optimize various LAN and WAN environments, data center load balancing, and network access security, including 802.1x and Cisco ISE.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of network engineering experience (or commensurate experience).
• Active Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.

Qualifications

• Preferred certifications: CCIE or CCNP.

Pay

USD $161,900.00 – USD $199,260.00 per year.
