SME IV – Clinical Psychologist (Health Promotion and Behavior Change)

About the role

Culmen International is hiring a Subject Matter Expert (SME IV) - Clinical Psychologist (Health Promotion and Behavior Change) to support enterprise-wide efforts focused on mental health promotion, resilience, and behavior change within military populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on initiatives designed to improve psychological well-being and reduce risk factors associated with mental health conditions.
• Develop evidence-based health promotion campaigns, behavioral change messaging, educational materials, and self-management resources.
• Assess government programs and services, identify best practices, and tailor communication strategies to maximize engagement and impact across diverse audiences.

Requirements

• PhD in Psychology or related field with specialization in clinical psychology.
• At least 10 years of experience in clinical practice, research, or program development in mental health promotion, resilience, and behavior change.
• Expertise in evidence-based health promotion and behavior change theories.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver effective presentations and written materials.
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of military-specific challenges and needs.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.
• Knowledge of relevant federal regulations and guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
