SME Consultant Sr. (Okta)

About the role

The Consultant SME Senior will provide guidance to IT partners on configuring, debugging, and deploying tools that require Identity and Access Management (IAM) integration. They will identify opportunities to optimize the IAM environment and provide recommendations for improvements. This role will apply DevSecOps principles to automate tasks across access infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform Multi Factor Authentication/Single Sign-On integrations for applications and management tasks using Okta.
• Integrate Active Directory, Azure AD, Radius Server, and other similar IDP/Authenticator integrations with Okta.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade the various types of Okta Agents, their host servers and service accounts.
• Provide customer T2/T3 support activities including assessment of user experience scenarios and identifying resolutions to unique user access issues for Okta integrated applications.
• Generate and maintain the Runbooks and other documentation for Projects and operations.
• Perform periodic review of the User and Administrator activities from Okta System log reports as part of security monitoring.
• Perform review and enhancements to the Splunk integration with Okta.
• Perform review and enhancements of the EAMS registration and access roles within ARIS.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a professional capacity and a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Ability to clearly communicate both business and technical terms and information/requirements/instructions to a wide variety of audiences (face-to-face, teleconference, phone, and email).

Skills

• Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
• Must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
• Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months' travel outside the United States within the last five years.
• Cannot have served in the military.

Schedule

The standard work week for contract staff will be 5 days a week and 8 hours per day, preferable Monday through Friday. Contract staff may be required to travel to support business efforts.
