Key responsibilities
- AI Systems & Technical Strategy
- Provide technical leadership for AI RMF implementation across lifecycle phases
- Define system-level considerations supporting evaluation readiness and risk management
- Ensure integration between AI governance frameworks and technical architectures
- TEVV Planning & Coordination
- Lead development of TEVV planning frameworks, including evaluation objectives and scoping
- Ensure traceability between AI risk factors and evaluation methodologies
- Support synthesis of evaluation insights into reusable artifacts
- Standards & Interoperability Alignment
- Analyze AI standards landscape and technical alignment with AI RMF
- Identify interoperability considerations and evaluation implications
- Support drafting of technical contributions to standards organizations
- Data, Systems, and Integration Oversight
- Advise on data flows, system dependencies, and evaluation infrastructure considerations
- Ensure alignment between technical systems and risk management processes
- Support documentation of assumptions, constraints, and technical dependencies
- Program Support & Technical Leadership
- Provide technical oversight to project team
- Support development of analytical frameworks and deliverables
- Participate in stakeholder briefings and technical discussions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, AI, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in IT systems management or AI/ML systems
- Experience with AI lifecycle, evaluation frameworks, and risk management
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, data systems, and integration practices
- Experience supporting federal AI or emerging technology programs
- Familiarity with NIST frameworks, AI standards, and TEVV methodologies
- Experience supporting standards development organizations (SDOs)
