About The Role
We’re looking for a high-energy SMB Account Executive to help bring Maple to thousands of local businesses across the country. This is a pure closing role—no prospecting required. Our growth marketing team delivers a steady flow of warm, high-intent leads, and your job is to help business owners quickly understand the value of Maple and confidently move forward.
What You’ll Do
- Close 7–15 new SMB customers per week through inbound and marketing-qualified leads (no prospecting required)
- Run fast, consultative sales calls with local business owners across many industries
- Clearly explain Maple’s value and guide customers to the right plan for their business
- Maintain tight follow-up loops to move deals from first call to close quickly
- Collaborate closely with growth, onboarding, and product teams to improve conversion and activation
- Continuously refine sales scripts, objection handling, and demos as we scale
- Provide direct feedback from the field to help shape messaging and product decisions
What We’re Looking For
- People who are energized by big goals; we're racing towards 40,000 customers and $100m in revenue by the end of 2027
- Someone excited to be part of a once-in-a-lifetime technological shift (AI is eating the world)
- 1–4+ years of experience in SMB sales, inside sales, or high-volume closing roles (SaaS preferred but not required)
- Comfortable running many calls per day and thriving in a fast-paced environment
- A strong communicator who can make complex ideas feel simple and obvious
- Competitive, resilient, and motivated by clear goals and frequent wins
- Organized and process-oriented, but adaptable as things evolve quickly
- Excited to help build and refine a sales motion that scales to tens of thousands of customers
