Smart Pit Host - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Proactively explain Smart ETG rules and how to play to casino guests.
• Anticipate and address guest needs and questions about the property or loyalty reward program.
• Maintain and update knowledge of Smart ETG Pit games, property, loyalty reward program, and other relevant information.
• Create an entertaining and positive guest experience by adhering to policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Accurately collect and record Smart ETG game information.
• Respond to guest needs according to service, policy, and procedure expectations.
• Escalate potential issues and concerns to Manager as necessary.
• Coordinate with Manager on scheduling concerns, prioritizing guest satisfaction.
• Support, promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in line with department and company standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• General Education Degree (GED) or High School Diploma.
• One to six months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six months of customer service experience in a high energy and fast-paced environment preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to operate tools of the trade safely, maintain, and care for them regularly.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a Gaming Permit.
• Ability to work high-volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Effective presentation and response to questions from various groups.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Interact with guests, staff, and colleagues in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management.
