Smart Home Technician
The Role
Install and configure A/V, lighting control, shading, networking, and security systems
Support pre-wire, trim-out, and final install phases on luxury residential projects
Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to execute clean, accurate installations
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues on-site with professionalism
Communicate with Lead Technicians and Project Managers on timelines and tasks
Maintain daily documentation and job updates in project management software
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in residential technology installation or a related trade
- Hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring, A/V, or home automation
- Familiarity with Control4, Savant, Lutron, or Crestron a plus
- Ability to read construction drawings and wiring diagrams
- Valid driver's license, clean record, and ability to pass a background check
- Security license or experience a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Work in tight spaces and at heights
- Handle varying outdoor conditions
