Small Projects Estimator

About the role

Master Electric, Inc. is a full-service electrical contractor based in Las Vegas, NV, with over 30 years of experience in the industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support their service and small projects division.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to perform material takeoffs and labor estimates
• Prepare detailed proposals, scopes of work, and bid packages
• Obtain and evaluate pricing from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Coverage material procurement and delivery schedules
• Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to assess project requirements
• Support project managers during project handoff and startup
• Track bid activity, customer feedback, and estimating metrics to improve performance and profitability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial, industrial, or residential construction
• Strong understanding of NEC codes, electrical systems, and basic electrical calculations
• Proficiency with estimating software such as McCormick, Accubid, WinEst, ServiceTitan, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with customers, contractors, and vendors
• Field experience is a plus
• ASPE Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) and/or Nevada C-2 License preferred, but not required
