Small Parts Fitter

Job Responsibilities

• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.
• Produce weldments per drawings using good workmanship practices.
• Work in conjunction with procedures and drawings to determine the fit-up required and complete the operation soundly and without distortion.
• Ensure that all equipment is set up, used and left in a safe and clean manner.
• Alert Maintenance of any anticipated repair needs.
• Ensure that parts are directed to the appropriate area.
• Ensure proper labeling of all weldments.
• Ensure that all weldments are properly inspected for compliance with all applicable tolerances.
• Operate overhead crane and drive forklift.
• Be aware of the importance of using correct lifting techniques.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one (1) years of wire fed MIG welding experience.
• Must have adequate tools to complete assigned duties.
• Successful completion of an internal welding test.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Pay

$19.00 to $23.00 hourly. The range provided is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Other factors that are involved in offer decisions include, and are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, geography, and internal equity.
