Small Parcel Coordinator

About the role

Job Purpose: The Customer Service Expeditor will be responsible for tracking and shipping UPS packages daily. Location: Arhaus Upholstery – Conover, NC. Department: Customer Service. Reports to: Sandy Church. Working conditions: Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors; office environment as needed. Supervision received: Minimum. Supervision exercised: None. Direct reports: None.

Responsibilities

• Ensure weekly parts orders are being completed in a timely manner and correctly.
• Follow up with department supervisors regarding part orders needed.
• Report any delays for part orders to Customer Service.
• Provide reports/lists of missing items to Purchasing to be ordered.
• Prepare, package and ship all part orders.
• Ship UPS packages daily.
• Track packages.
• Update system with correct shipping information.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area and prepare nightly reports.

Requirements

• Minimum Experience: Computer experience.
• Preferred Experience: Experience shipping items in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime.
• Must have strong communication skills in reading, comprehending, speaking, and writing in English.
• Must be able to operate a computer and email.
• Must have good vision.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to walk/stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant that is heated and cooled.
• Must be able to wear required PPE of Safety Glasses and close-toe/close-heel shoes when required.
• Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.

Pay

Non-Exempt – Full Time - Hourly

Schedule

Monday – Friday 6a – 3:30p Overtime as needed
