Small Engine Mechanic

About the Role

United Land Services (ULS) is seeking a small engine mechanic to join our team. As a leading full-service landscaping company, we provide a comprehensive range of commercial landscape installation and maintenance services. Our expertise spans landscape design, maintenance, irrigation systems, hardscapes, and outdoor lighting. We serve diverse properties, from single-family home developments to condominium complexes, commercial buildings, and shopping centers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems and/or failures in a wide variety of equipment (e.g., mowers, edgers, pumps, compressors, hydraulic rams, sprayers, generators, switches, lights, etc.) to identify equipment and/or system repair and replacement needs.
• Clean, sharpen, and lubricate a variety of motorized equipment (e.g., reel mowers, blades, hedge trimmers, edgers, trimmers, etc.) to ensure units are operating safely and correctly.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain tools and/or equipment to ensure the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.
• Complete service work orders through Aspire.

Requirements

• 3 years of professional experience.
• Mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Experience with some or all of the following: John Deere, Stihl, Ditchwitch, Bobcat, and Toro.
