Small Engine Mechanic

About the role

At EquipmentShare, we’re hiring a Tool Technician (Mechanic) at our rental facility in Monaca, PA. This role is part of a dynamic team that’s transforming an industry by providing innovative technology, real-time support, and a caring culture.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders
• Track machine service intervals
• Order parts
• Diagnose issues using data from hundreds of makes and models
• Work safely on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
• Stay updated on OSHA requirements (preferred)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active applicable state class driver's license
• Construction knowledge and background preferred
• Own tools applicable to position
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics, and diagrams

Skills

• Strong mechanical skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under supervision

Pay

• $20 - $25 per hour

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Offers overtime pay after working 40 hours
• Subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation provided
