Small Business Banking Intern
Responsibilities
- Commercial Mortgage and Line of Credit Renewals: Monitors dashboard daily to determine if maturing lines of credit or term loans pass established benchmarks for renewal. Works with credit officer, team lead, branch manager or small business lender based on determination and takes the appropriate steps based on outcome.
- Credit analysis and underwriting: Analyzing credit reports, reviewing loan documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Special projects: Participate in special projects, such as process improvements and product development as assigned by the Business Banking Manager or Director of Credit Delivery.

Qualifications
- High School degree and actively working towards completion of a college degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Ability to work with supervision to learn relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to apply judgement, take initiative, handle priorities, and work under general supervision.
- Strong work habits, attention to detail, and teamwork.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
