About the role

Responsibilities
- Implement programs or activities as directed by the supervising SLP
- Assist SLP with screenings, assessments and treatment of patients
- Complete documentation
- Communicate with patients, patients’ families and physicians and staff
- Assist in the general operation of the department
- Aid in the development of programs
Requirements
- 100% school-based position
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Target start date July 27, 2026
- School experience preferred, new graduates welcome
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and practices
