SLP Speech Language Pathologist PRN

About the Role

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas, located in Mandan, ND. This is a 41 bed Critical Care Hospital providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication
• Function under physician's orders

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year
• Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience preferred
