Responsibilities

• Provide efficient speech or swallow evaluations and/or screens of patients
• Develop plan of care, downgrade/upgrade as appropriate, manage meal texture
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnoses
• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software

Requirements

• Current NYS SLP License and Registration
• Clinical Competence Certification (CCC)
• CPR Certificate
• EMR Competence
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable)
• Not accepting Clinical Fellows (CFY) at this time

Pay

$46-$48 Hourly (W-2), $57-$60 Hourly (1099)
