Responsibilities
- Maintain and thoroughly clean all slot machines ensuring they meet department guidelines.
- Carry out responsibilities while relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines and good judgment.
- Support and uphold Valley View Casino & Hotel’s Standards of Excellence, Mission and Vision Statements.
- Greet guests in a courteous and caring manner using personalized service.
- Preventative maintenance and cleaning of all electrical and mechanical slot machines in accordance with gaming regulations.
- Report and replace any part or insert needing to be replaced.
- Test and replace or repair nonfunctioning equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair damaged slot machine electronic devices such as light bulbs, inserts, glass etc.
- Record and identify parts and cosmetics of a slot machine.
- Aids with the breakdown, relocation and reset-up of machines and stands to be relocated.
- Maintain a working knowledge of company facilities, as well as special events on property, to advise guests and fellow Team Members of same, whenever possible.
- Conduct all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner.
- Maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
- Adhere to performance standards, company policies and procedures, as they relate to the department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies.
- Basic electronic knowledge.
- Ability to identify worn or damaged slot machine parts to property standards.
- Ability to speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
- Successfully pass applicable auditions or skill testing and a drug screening test.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a gaming environment.
- Ability to understand oral and verbal communication while using Valley View Casino & Hotel’s communication tools which include but are not limited to radios, phones, and or email.
Physical Requirements
- Clear vision (close, distant, peripheral, and depth perception).
- Standing, walking, sitting, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Lifting and/or moving 100 pounds and hand truck up to 250 pounds.
