About the Role
This position is responsible for repairs on electro-mechanical slot machines as well as minor repairs and general maintenance on all Slot Performance related equipment in the repair shop and at assigned locations.
Responsibilities
- Repairs electro-mechanical slot machines, ticket redemption equipment and casino slot signage to ensure their proper operation according to department standards.
- Diagnoses problems with malfunctioning electronic slot machines, including progressive and player tracking systems, in order to replace faulty parts or allow the parts to be fixed.
- Performs general maintenance such as changing light bulbs and cleaning glass to ensure that slot machines are operational.
- Inspects slot machines weekly and as assigned to ensure proper operation (Integrity/variance checks).
- Verifies, documents, and resets jackpots to ensure accurate payments, proper documentation and machines ready to play.
- Requests parts as needed to maintain needed inventory.
- Repairs and maintains all equipment under the requirement of Slot Performance to ensure their proper operation according to department standards.
- Moves and installs slot machines as needed.
- Completes all manufacture machine game conversions, optioning and testing to an accurate level.
- Trains newly hired Technician I(s) to facilitate the job incumbents with proper information to perform job.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Demonstrated competency with the requirements of Slot Technician I or one year experience in the electro-mechanical and/or basic electronic field.
- Literate and fluent in English.
- Basic understanding of electricity.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
- Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Visual and auditory range must include immediate environment.
- Mobility to move about the property.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push objects weighing up to 250 lbs. on a dolly.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary equipment.
- Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
- Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment.
