SLOT TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

• Maintain the repair and maintenance of electronic gaming machines and related equipment.
• Be proficient in installing and removing slot machines.
• Perform slot machine conversions, moves, and changes with minimal supervision.
• Foster positive team relations and interface with other departments.
• Repair and maintain player tracking systems.
• Troubleshoot and set up progressive signs.
• Communicate with employees to share information and provide feedback.
• Use Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word.
• Have working knowledge of gaming regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training certificate preferred; some experience with electronics or mechanical responsibilities; or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and SDS.
• Strong interactive skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
• Must be able to work in a highly populated, fast-paced, and noisy environment.
