SLOT TECH SHIFT MANAGER

About the Role

The Slot Tech Shift Manager supports the Slot Tech Manager in overseeing daily technical operations, ensuring efficient service for internal and external guests. This role involves planning and executing training, communicating changes, resolving issues, and maintaining casino gaming equipment while collaborating with various departments and staying updated on technological advancements.

Responsibilities

• Redefine hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while upholding company values, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assist the Slot Tech Manager in planning, executing, and overseeing department initiatives during assigned shifts.
• Communicate changes, issues, and status updates to relevant parties to ensure timely and efficient information distribution.
• Foster a culture of satisfaction, recognition, and engagement within the department.
• Implement best practices and standardized improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support the maintenance and performance of casino gaming equipment in collaboration with the Slot Tech Manager.
• Conduct regular communications, including team counseling, troubleshooting system issues, and relaying inter-department concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, including Gaming Commission Regulations and Slot Technical Procedures.
• Stay informed on technological advancements and provide training for Slot Technical department team members.
• Oversee machine moves, installations, removals, conversions, and repairs in compliance with jurisdictional regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all machines, including par sheets, compliance documentation, and machine-related activities.
• Support human resources responsibilities, including creating a positive work environment, hiring, training, and policy compliance.
• Act as a liaison between vendor technicians and property departments when vendors are on premises.
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Promote and uphold the highest standards of guest service for both internal and external guests.
