SLOT TECH I

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Installing, testing and maintaining components, sub-systems and systems required for efficient and continuous conduction of business operations
• Inspecting and testing assigned equipment, noting all defective parts and making recommendations for correction
• Performing required adjustments and repairs to electronic and electro-mechanical equipment as assigned
• Maintain maximum efficiency, performing preventative maintenance to slot machines either on the floor or in the slot shop, observing all safety regulations in the performance of assigned duties and reporting any safety hazards to assigned supervisory

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to obtain a Gaming License issued by the Louisiana State Police
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training in repair of electrical and/or electronic equipment

Languages and Skills

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies or members of the staff
• Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regard to the implementation of current duties

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit while working
• The employee regularly is required to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, crawl in small spaces, reach with arms and hands and have the ability to lift at least 75 pounds
