About the Role
Provide friendly, efficient service to guests while supervising the operation of all slot machines and the performance of slot floor Team Members in your assigned area. You will communicate any guest or Team Member issues to the Slot Assistant Shift Manager or above, ensure compliance with Title 31 procedures, and safeguard the Company's assets while adhering to all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the operation of all slot machines and performance of slot floor Team Members in your assigned area; report any guest or Team Member problems to the Slot Assistant Shift Manager or above.
- Facilitate training, disciplinary action, evaluations, and rewards for subordinate Team Members.
- Organize daily Team Member assignments, break schedules, and staffing levels for your assigned shift and area.
- Coach Team Members to maintain and improve performance, productivity, and motivation using positive reinforcement.
- Foster an atmosphere where Team Members feel encouraged to share ideas, discuss concerns, and resolve conflicts.
- Verify slot payouts (jackpots, fills, etc.) and manage bank buying/selling to maintain control of departmental funds.
- Notify the Slot Technical Team of down games and E-Drops; inform the Shift Manager of any noteworthy, suspicious, or unusual activity.
- Facilitate communication of information throughout the casino.
- Supervise count in/count out of change banks and booths; record and track variances, and review voids.
- Comply with signatory controls, including verification of jackpot/fill tickets, check in/out sheets, transfer or buy sheets, Title 31 paperwork, paid in/out slips, key control logs, radio sign-out logs, and daily sign-in sheets.
- Make recommendations for hiring and promoting Team Members within your span of supervision.
- Promote all departmental and property-wide promotions to enhance guest engagement.
- Deliver prompt, courteous, and efficient service to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for all casino guests.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and the property’s internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Directly supervise all slot floor Team Members on your assigned shift.
- Efficiently process requests for overrides on jackpots and fills.
- Keep work areas neat, clean, and safe.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
