Sleep Technologist

Pivotal Health, formerly known as MedBridge Healthcare, is seeking experienced RPSGTs to work at Southeastern Sleep Lab located in Cambridge, Ohio. This position will provide sleep services on a part-time basis from 8:00 PM–6:00 AM, two nights per week: every Saturday night and every other Friday with the Saturday night.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate tests and collect data
• Prepare equipment, record activities, and analyze results
• Follow proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
• Analyze (score) clinical events such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulate final data to be submitted for further review
• Comply with regulations and laws concerning safety control

Requirements

• High School diploma or higher education level
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
• Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Current BCLS certification
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit; talk and hear
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• Required to use hands to operate office equipment
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Pay

Competitive hourly rates available, depending on experience and patient ratio. Sign-on bonus available up to $15,000.

Schedule

Part-time, 8:00 PM–6:00 AM, two nights per week: every Saturday night and every other Friday with the Saturday night.
