Pivotal Health is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy, partnering with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive, fully-integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate tests and collect data
- Prepare equipment, record activities, and analyze results
- Follow proper polysomnographic procedures, including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
- Analyze (score) clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes
- Tabulate final data to be submitted for further review
- Ensure compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control
Requirements
- High School diploma or higher education level
- Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred
- Certified nationally (for application to ND) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred
- Current BCLS certification
- Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR
- Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required
- Travel may be required 10% of the time
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit; talk and hear
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Required to use hands to operate office equipment
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
