Sleep Technician
Location: CHA Somerville Campus
About the Role
Our dedicated team of Sleep Technicians and Registered Respiratory Therapists provides diagnostic tests, including in-lab PSG studies, HSTs, CPAP titrations, MSLTs, scoring, and reporting services. We are committed to customer satisfaction, effective resource utilization, teamwork, and continuous quality improvement, ensuring the highest standard of Sleep Studies for our CHA patients.
Schedule
- Work Days: 7p–7a (Night Shift)
- Hours/Week: 36
- Job Type: Part Time
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic sleep studies, including in-lab polysomnography (PSG), home sleep tests (HSTs), CPAP titrations, and multiple sleep latency tests (MSLTs)
- Score and report sleep study results
- Provide care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Sleep Technology or Respiratory Therapy educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree
- One of the following credentials required: Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS), or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification
- One year of polysomnography experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients preferred
Pay
Pay range varies based on candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
