Role Overview
The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) lead provides routine and complex sleep studies using various techniques and equipment. They ensure safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate sleep medicine care for patients from neonates to adolescents. Responsible for maintaining high-quality patient outcomes, they work closely with the care team to deliver standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Performing sleep procedures with technical expertise
- Ensuring patient safety and quality care
- Maintaining skills and knowledge in sleep technology
- Collaborating with team members to meet care standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RPSGT credential by the BRPT
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Over two years of pediatric sleep technology experience
- Current Certification in Clinical Sleep Health (Tech III qualification)
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or within one month of hire
Schedule
Typically works 3-4 nights and one weekend per month.
Pay
Compensation is a flat rate of $40/hour, commensurate with experience.
