Sleep Sales Representative

Essential Sales Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain action plans and call strategies to manage current accounts
  • Develop and deliver educational presentations and in-services for healthcare providers
  • Manage account activity, sales documentation, and reports
  • Coordinate availability for patient contact and respond to patient needs
  • Manage territory and promote VieMed's services to all referral sources
  • Collaborate with internal departments to drive sales growth

Required Competencies

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external referral sources
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and referral sources
  • Plan, implement, and execute sales strategies independently
  • Show a sense of urgency for goal achievement
  • Build relationships with referral sources, patients, and caregivers
  • Organize, prioritize, and manage territory effectively
  • Be flexible, self-driven, accountable for results, and supportive of team efforts

Requirements

  • Resourceful problem solver with experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-connected with established relationships among Sleep Specialists in the territory
  • Three informal letters of recommendation from physicians/providers
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record and reliable transportation

Sales Experience

  • Proven track record in a healthcare setting with experience working with physicians and nurses
  • Demonstrated full-life medical sales experience including lead generation, education, follow-up, and follow-through
  • Two or more years of full-life medical sales experience
  • Preferred formal sales training

Work Environment

  • Field-based sales operations
  • Call on and market to existing and potential referral sources such as Pulmonologists, Sleep Specialists, Cardiologists, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, and Ear Nose and Throat specialists
  • Regular business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
