Sleep Lab Technologist
Purpose of Position
Under the general direction of the Manager FH Rehabilitation, Sleep, and EEG Services, coordinates the function of the Sleep Lab. Practices according to entity mandatory requirements. Practices according to department expectations. Practices with a Customer Service approach to all activities. Utilizes internal and external resources appropriately. Documents according to entity/department guidelines. Utilizes techniques of time management effectively. Sets up, adjusts and operates medical equipment and instruments. Performs testing ordered by patient’s physician. Addresses age-specific needs of infants, toddlers, school age, adolescents, adults, older adults. Performs therapeutic procedures with emphasis on patient care. Assists physicians in Sleep Lab. Maintains equipment and orders supplies as necessary. Performs administrative and other tasks as requested.
Qualifications
- Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
- Current CPR certification
Schedule Details
64PP (32 Hours Per Week), Rotating Days, 7a-3p with other possible shifts 6:30a-2:30p, 7:30a-3:30p; No Weekends, No Holidays
