Slalom Flex (Project Based) - Network Technical Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking candidates local to Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and Dallas. Out of state travel will be covered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and finalization of multiple network infrastructure projects
• Manage the deployment of network infrastructure
• Work across various teams including construction, engineering, operations, and vendors
• Ensure quality assurance of delivered product
• Produce weekly/monthly reports
• Understand the client’s business challenges to help craft effective solutions
• Proactively identify risks and anticipated points of resistance; help develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns
• Work on projects independently and participate as a team member
• Work closely with technical and non-technical teams, coordinating resources and managing risks to ensure smooth project execution
• Develop relationships and build trust

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in program/project management specifically for network infrastructure projects
• Physical infrastructure experience
• Experience working with construction teams
• The ability to go onsite to local and potentially out-of-state build sites several times per month
• The ability to hit the ground running as a Technical Project Manager
• Must be able to work independently and navigate ambiguity
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Consulting experience preferred

Pay

The hourly pay range is $60/hr-$80/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.

Schedule

Regular travel to local jobsites as well as some out of state travel will be required.
