Slalom Flex (Project-Based) - Network Technical Project Manager

About the role

Employees must live within a commutable distance of Los Angeles, CA. This role is not eligible for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and finalization of multiple network infrastructure projects
• Manage the deployment of network infrastructure
• Work across various teams including construction, engineering, operations, and vendors
• Ensure quality assurance of delivered product
• Produce weekly/monthly reports
• Understand the client’s business challenges to help craft effective solutions that address the needs of our clients to achieve their desired outcomes
• Proactively identify risks and anticipated points of resistance; help develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns
• Work on projects independently and participate as a team member
• Work closely with technical and non-technical teams, coordinating resources and managing risks to ensure smooth project execution
• Develop relationships and build trust

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in program/project management specifically for network infrastructure projects
• Physical infrastructure experience
• Experience working with construction teams
• The ability to travel onsite to local and nearby cities build sites several times per month
• The ability to hit the ground running as a Technical Program Manager
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to develop relationships
• A strong sense of urgency, committed to business context and outcomes/value delivered
• Consulting experience preferred

Pay

The targeted hourly pay range is $60/hr-$79/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
