About the role
Sofive Soccer Center is looking for energetic, dependable, and kid-focused coaches to join our Skills Institute team. As a Skills Institute Coach, you will lead structured weekly soccer classes for children ages 5 to 12. Using our proven curriculum, you’ll help players develop technical skills, confidence, teamwork, and a lasting love for the game.

Responsibilities
- Lead engaging soccer training sessions for children ages 5 to 12
- Teach core skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, movement, and teamwork
- Follow the Skills Institute curriculum and class structure
- Create a positive, encouraging, and appropriately challenging environment
- Promote teamwork, perseverance, confidence, and sportsmanship
- Build strong relationships with players and families
- Represent Sofive, Skills Institute, and Lil’ Kickers professionally and enthusiastically
- Support special events and local marketing initiatives when needed
Schedule
- Weekend availability is required
- Additional shifts may be available on weekday afternoons and evenings
- Coaches must commit to consistent weekly shifts throughout the 13-week season
Qualifications
- Passion for soccer and youth development
- Positive, energetic, and encouraging attitude
- Ability to keep children engaged in a group setting
- Dependability and commitment to scheduled classes
- Willingness to learn and develop as a coach
- Previous playing, teaching, or coaching experience is helpful but not required
- Successful completion of a background check
